AN internationally renowned group that beats the Americans at their own game with their very Cornish Bluegrass arrives at Feckenham Village Hall on Saturday October 16th.
Flats and Sharps is a four-piece outfit by Penzance, which delivered energetic and fiery Bluegrass to audiences around the world.
Flats & Sharps have been performing their own take on the genre for over eight years and their shows include a wide variety of influences, ranging from a fresh, modern perspective on foot-training material to their powerful and well-crafted original songs.
Mixing strong harmonies and punchy solos, this promises to be an evening that will have people dancing, laughing and singing too.
The group is a veteran of several tours in Australia, Europe and the UK with festival appearances in Nashville Meets London, Cambridge Folk, Isle of Wight and Larmer Tree – to name a few.
Flats & Sharps are brought to Redditch’s rural outpost by Live and Local – the county’s performing arts program and entertainment is sponsored by Arts Council England, Worcestershire County Council and Redditch Borough Council.
There will be a licensed bar and the doors will open at 7:00 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. departure.
Tickets are £ 12 at the Village Shop and The Rose & Crown in Feckenham or book online at www.feckhall.org or call 0333 666 3366.
