A Covid-19 pop-up vaccination clinic is underway at St Ives Guildhall.

The vaccinators joined forces with the town hall to provide the service.

The Atlantic Medical Group operates the pop-up clinic at St Ives Guildhall between 2 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. on Saturday June 26.

Appointments for the first and second doses in the pop-up window must be booked by logging into the national NHS reservations service or by calling 119 free of charge.

The pop-up clinic in St Ives is not a walk-in service and appointments for a COVID vaccination must be booked in advance through the national reservation service.

To date, the Atlantic Medical Group vaccinators have provided approximately 33,000 doses of the vaccine to people living in and around Penzance, including fishermen and farmers at previous pop-up clinics.

“We’re really excited to be able to offer the Pop-up Clinic on Saturday as part of our ongoing efforts to make it as easy as possible for everyone in and around Penzance to get their COVID vaccine.

“We would like to thank St Ives City Council and Emma Gibson, Cultural Services Manager, for working with us to get this service up and running so quickly.”

Appointments for the first and second dose can be booked by logging into the national NHS reservations service or calling 119 free of charge.

Adults aged 40 and over can also receive their second dose of the vaccine earlier, reducing the wait from 12 weeks to 8 weeks.

People who already have a second vaccination appointment booked for their second dose on the national reservation system can log into the system to change their appointment.
