Military Appreciation Days planned for the Utah Shakespeare Festival

Cedar City, UT – The Utah Shakespeare Festival will celebrate our armed forces with free military personnel tickets to selected performances on September 16-28. The festival appreciates the sacrifices of the men and women who serve and recognizes their dedication and commitment to this country.

Offer is open to anyone with Military ID or Form DD214, Active or Veteran, and includes four tickets per ID in total for the following: The comedy of terrors September 16 at 8 p.m. and The pirates of Penzance September 28 at 2 p.m. The four tickets can be split between the two shows, or all four can be for a single show. Plus, if military personnel want more tickets on these days, they can purchase them for $ 10 off regular prices.

Military personnel are encouraged to reserve tickets by calling 800-PLAYTIX or by going to the box office near the Anes Studio Theater. Valid military ID or a copy of a DD214 form will be required to collect tickets, and there is a limit of four tickets per ID. Tickets are not available in the Premier seating section. Space is limited for this special offer, so call quickly to reserve your seats.

Regular tickets for the 2021 Festival season are still on sale. The shows are Pericles, Richard III, The Comedy of Errors, Ragtime, The Pirates of Penzance, Intimate Apparel, Cymbeline, and The Comedy of Terrors.
