Most mounts in The Elder Scrolls Online can be purchased from the Crown Store, but there are a few you can earn in-game for free. Some of these mounts require specific DLC to earn, but most DLCs are available through the ESO Plus subscription. The Sorrel Horse is a basic mount that you will unlock upon reaching level ten in The Elder Scrolls Online. The mount is free, so it’s a great starter horse that can get you from place to place as quickly as any other mount in Tamriel.
The Midnight Steed is a horse that you can buy for 42,700 gold from any stablemaster in major cities in Tamriel. Like other horses, this mount offers no additional benefits except for its good looks.
Bay Dun Horse
The Bay Dun Horse is the second of three mounts you can buy from a Stablemaster for 42,700 gold in most major cities. It is a light brown horse with a basic appearance, although it differs from the starter horse you gain upon reaching level ten due to its color.

The Brown Paint Horse is the last mount you can buy from Stablemasters in the stables of cities in Tamriel for 42,700 gold. He has the most unique appearance of the horses you can unlock in the game due to his white and brown color combination. Ebon Dwarf Mount
The Ebon Dwarf Wolf is a unique mount that takes the form of a wolf crafted using Dwarven technology. It has a dual color of gray and brown, so it is more colorful than other Dwarven mounts in the Crown Store. Unlike many other mounts you can earn in ESO, there is more than one step to obtaining the Ebon Dwarf Wolf as it requires you to find and scour multiple leads.

Lion Senche Champion
The Champion Senche Lion is a mount you can earn by completing multiple achievements in the Sunspire Trial. The hardest challenge you will need to complete to earn this mount is to complete the Trifecta, which requires your party to complete the Hardmode version of Veteran Sunspire within 30 minutes and without any player in your party dying.
Additional achievement titles include Keeping In Sync, Faster Than Lightning, Dragonhound Demolisher, Senche-Raht Slayer, and Strike When The Iron’s Hot. You will earn most if not all of these achievements while progressing through the trifecta, as completing it requires many clears of the trial and many opportunities to complete their requirements.
The Sul-Xan Fleshripper is currently the hardest mount to earn in The Elder Scrolls Online. There are many achievements you need to complete in the Rockgrove Trial to get it, but the hardest is the Trial Trifecta, which requires you to complete the Hardmode difficulty of Veteran Rockgrove within 30 minutes of entering it and without quitting. ‘no group, member dies.
You’ll also need achievements such as Havorcrel Slayer, Sul-Xan Slayer, Soul Bombardier, Light Stepper, Turtle Soup, Keep Your Distance, and What Is This Filth to earn the mount, but you’ll likely earn these achievements with the trifecta achievement, which is called Soul Savior.
Every year, many temporarily obtainable mounts come and go from The Elder Scrolls Online. Unfortunately, it’s unknown if any of the mounts from past events will ever return.
You can currently earn the Aurelic Quasigriff mount by fusing the Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet with the Gilded Gryphon Barding, Sacred Seeds Of Alkosh, and Aurelite Gryphon Feather fragments, all of which can be purchased with Event Tickets in the two upcoming events. here July. 2022.
