Cornwall Planning Applications: Week ending October 17 | Part 1


Various planning requests have been validated by Cornwall Council and associated documents can be viewed online on the Council’s Planning Portal.

You can search for planning requests, decisions, appeals and executions by keyword, request reference, postal code or by a single address line.

There were a lot of nominations, so the list was split into three separate items.

  • 23 Deer Park, Saltash, Cornwall: One storey rear extension. Conversion of the loft to provide an additional bedroom with access to the flat roof balcony to the rear and the balcony to the front.
  • Haye House, Haye Road, Callington, Cornwall PL17 7JN: Pre-application tips for exterior and interior work including roofing work, windows and new patio furniture.
  • 1 Chapel Cottages, Woodville Road, Woodford, Bude, Cornwall EX23 9JB: Pre-application advice for a build-it-yourself one-story residential property.
  • 5 Polscoe, Lostwithiel, Cornwall PL22 0HS: Pre-application notice for two shepherds huts with parking, associated trails and site landscaping. Each guest pod will have a small chipped seating area up front and a parking spot that includes an electric vehicle charging bay.

  • Greystones 12 Park Lane Camborne Cornwall TR14 7TG: Discharge conditions 3, 5, 6, 9 and 10 for application PA20 / 07424.
  • The Atlantic Inn, Peverell Terrace, Porthleven, Helston, Cornwall TR13 9DZ: Pre-application advice for replacing the existing on-site building with a custom six unit residential development.
  • Gwelantyr Road from Silverdale Road to Swanpool Road via the west side of Swanpool, Falmouth TR11 5BA: Tree cultivation work.
  • Middle Hampt Farmhouse, Stoke Climsland, Callington, Cornwall PL17 8NR: Pre-application tips for rebuilding an abandoned barn to create a new residential unit.
  • Land adjacent to Pen Y Gwiddam, Florence Terrace, Falmouth, Cornwall: Pre-application advice for remodeling and converting stone garages / stores to 1 bedroom dwelling.
  • Lea Moor, Tripp Hill, St Neot PL14 6NF: Removed / modified partitions on the ground floor to create an improved layout. The veranda and terrace also create additional living space, accessed via the living room. The proposals also include the creation of a level on the first floor which offers three bedrooms, a bathroom, a bathroom and a storage space. A terrace area is formed above the new veranda, overlooking the garden.

  • Truro Methodist Church, Union Place, Truro, Cornwall TR1 1EP: Notice prior to request for minor internal chapel reorganization, demolition of 20th century one storey extension to north, partial removal of extension of the existing classroom to the east with conservation of the granite facade at Union Place, construction of new community hub facilities; associated hard landscaping and development of the car park with drop-off.
