Cornwall Planning Applications: Week ending November 21 | Part 3


Various planning applications have been validated by Cornwall Council and associated documents can be viewed online on the Council’s website. planning portal.

You can search for planning requests, decisions, appeals and executions by keyword, request reference, postal code or by a single address line.

There were a lot of nominations, so the list was split into three separate items.

Part Three town planning requests validated week during the week starting Monday, November 15, can be found below:

  • St Mewan CP School, St Mewan, St Austell, Cornwall PL26 7DP: New extension, replacement of windows, change of exterior siding.
  • Trungle Barn, 4 Herland Hill, Gwinear, Hayle TR27 5JY: Demolition of an existing agricultural outbuilding made of concrete. Change of use from a derelict farm building to a garage / home office. Construction of a 4 bedroom detached house with non-compliance with condition 2 relating to PA19 / 00321.
  • Clarenden Barn, Liskey Hill, Perranporth, Cornwall TR6 0BB: Demolition of redundant barn and stable and construction of housing and outdoor office, installation of sewage treatment plant with leach field .
  • 29A Tregony Hill, Tregony TR2 5RU: New home, porch removal and demolition of existing outbuilding. Creation of a new parking area and associated works.
  • 80 Newton Road, Troon TR14 9DS: Remove the front garden wall, move the traffic sign, drop the curbs and create a parking lot in the driveway.
  • Old Post Office, The Square, Praze An Beeble, Camborne, Cornwall TR14 0JR: Pre-Application Notice for Change of Use from Mixed Residential / Commercial to Full Residential.
  • Bramble, 22 Tehidy Gardens, South Tehidy TR14 0ET: Additional room above the garage and extension of the living space on the ground floor to the rear of the partly single and partly two-story accommodation to extend the master bedroom.
  • Land west of Nancarrow Farm, Marazanvose, Truro, Cornwall TR4 9DQ: New dwelling on the site of an existing farm shed.
  • Trevelloe House, Paul, Penzance, Cornwall TR19 6NX: Listed construction with planning permission of an annex dwelling for an elderly relative and extension of the domestic courtyard.
  • Land southeast of 98 Tregonissey Road, St Austell, Cornwall PL25 4DS: summary clearance with certain matters reserved (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) for a new detached house.
  • Land adjacent to Ganilly Cottage, Carleen, Breage, Helston, Cornwall TR13 9NG: Six affordable units, landscaping and access.
  • Lostwithiel Station, Grenville Road, Lostwithiel, Cornwall PL22 0EW: Pre-application advice for the provision of a stepped walkway.
  • Manoir Lanivet, Lanivet, Bodmin PL30 5HG: Legal development certificate for the use of the existing domestic garage as secondary accommodation.
  • East Venton Road from Bridgerule Road to Tamerton Hill, North Tamerton, Holsworthy EX22 6SF: Building permission classified to replace sash windows and to remove and rebuild the old orangery at east elevation.
  • 14 Budnic Estate, Perranporth TR6 0DB: Convert the garage into a small annex.
  • Land east of An Jue, green farm house, Trevalgan TR26 3BJ: conversion of a disused agricultural barn into an ecological dwelling house, a double garage and the inclusion of a wild herb / flower meadow .

  • Ivy Cottage, Greenbottom, Truro, Cornwall TR4 8QH: At the site of two shepherds huts for vacation rental.
  • The Stable, Old Custom House, Arwenack Street, Falmouth, Cornwall TR11 3SB: Listed building authorization for the redevelopment of an old drinking fountain at the front of the property and its reuse as a refill point for bottles of public water.
  • 14 Victoria Park, Wadebridge PL27 6DZ: One storey extension to the side of the property.
  • Land at Quarry Lane, Newport, Launceston PL15 8EX: Construction of light industrial units, use class B8, with associated works.
  • Three Mobile, 12B Fore Street, St Austell, Cornwall PL25 5EN: Classified building authorization for new signage and interior decorations.
  • 1 Terrasse Granville, Bude EX23 8JZ: Replacement of the existing double-glazed PVC windows at the front of the building with two full-length side windows and a central set of French doors.
  • Ivy Cottage, Gwindra Road, St Stephen, St Austell, Cornwall PL26 7NG: work on trees subject to TPO.
  • 50 Higher Bore Street, Bodmin PL31 1JW: Three apartments under a new high roof and a one storey rear extension and staff room extension.

  • Treleigh Farm, St Erva, n Wadebridge, Cornwall PL27 7RT: Five bay steel gantry farm building on an established 242 acre prairie farm to provide shelter for housing and lambing a flock of sheep existing commercial of 400 ewes.
  • The Old Stables, Lower Clicker Road, Menheniot, Liskeard PL14 3PJ: Domestic kennel building (excluding boarding) (retrospective part).
  • The Old Orchard, Ropewalk Lane, Charlestown, St Austell PL23 3PA: Single-family house.
  • Loe Meadow, Churchtown Road, Gerrans, Portscatho TR2 5DZ: Release Condition 4 in relation to Decision Notice PA20 / 08194.
  • Trevince, Gwennap, Redruth, Cornwall TR16 6BA: Release conditions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13 in relation to PA18 / 07189.
  • Land east of Trevella Farm, Valley Lane, Carnon Downs, Cornwall: residential development of 15 units (nine affordable and six open market) with associated parking, landscaping and open space.
  • Tregavone Touring Park, Tregavone Farm, St Merryn, Padstow PL28 8JZ: Use of the land for the location of five static caravans.
  • Dolphins, Sea View Crescent, St Mawes, Truro, Cornwall TR2 5BW: Non-significant modification to reduce the width of the dormers to the existing size while extending outward as per plan to the exterior wall of the house as per to decision PA20 / 08460.

  • Lands End Cottage, Road to Maswell Lane, St Teath, Bodmin PL30 3JH: Converting an existing single storey garage to a one bedroom vacation rental, creating a new driveway and building a new garage on the southwest of the existing dwelling.
  • Lanjeth Farmland, Lanjeth, St Austell, Cornwall: five residential dwellings, garages with associated landscaping and amenity areas.

  • 12 Trewint Crescent, East Looe, Looe, Cornwall PL13 1ET: The two story rear extension is to be completed from the same structure as the existing property.

  • Pine & Period Furniture, Fore Street, Grampound TR2 4QT: Classified building permit for the installation of a town gas supply.
  • St Euny Poultry Farm, St Euny House, Trevingey Road, Redruth TR15 3DH: Works on the existing retaining wall as part of the graveyard boundary which fails due to excessive tilt. The works will provide a continuous buttress along the failing length of the wall and reinforcement of the wall to ensure that the higher ground of the cemetery is properly supported.
  • St Euny Poultry Farm, St Euny House, Trevingey Road, Redruth TR15 3DH: Classified building permit for existing retaining wall work as part of the cemetery boundary which fails due to excessive tilt. The works will provide a continuous buttress along the failing length of the wall and reinforcement of the wall to ensure that the higher ground of the cemetery is properly supported.
