Cornwall Planning Applications: Week ending August 29 | Part 2

Various planning requests have been validated by Cornwall Council and associated documents can be viewed online on the Council’s Planning Portal.

You can search for planning requests, decisions, appeals and executions by keyword, request reference, postal code or by a single address line.

There were a lot of nominations, so the list was split into two separate items.

Part of them town planning requests validated between Monday 23 August and Friday 27 August can be found below:

  • Land north of Stephensville Cottages, Polladras, Breage, Cornwall TR13 9NT: Land use change for dog training courses with fairway and hard ground maintained and hard ground extended.
  • Land at Druids Lodge, Illogan Highway, Cornwall: Partial demolition of the existing domestic garage and construction of a new dwelling.
  • 5 Swallowfield Close, Tywardreath PL24 2QB: Modification of an existing accommodation to create an annex with additional parking.
  • 67 Morrab Road, Penzance TR18 2QJ: Certificate of legality for change of use of the ground floor from an office to a cafe. The first floor will be the jewelry making workshop.
  • 3 Martins Way, Shutta, Looe, Cornwall PL13 1LU: Retrospective application for a terrace.
  • Trekenner, Keswick Road from Trebullet to junction south of Trekenner, Lezant, Launceston PL15 9PH: Single detached wooden garage on the left side of the Keswick bungalow.
  • 21 St Georges Road, Truro TR1 3JD: Classified building permit for the replacement of the existing asbestos “slate” roof, rainwater products and brick chimneys.
  • 18 Hillside Road, Saltash PL12 6EX: Creation of off-street gravel parking (for two vehicles) with retaining wall.
  • 21 St Georges Road, Truro TR1 3JD: Replacement of existing asbestos “slate” roof, rainwater drainage products and brick chimneys.
  • Land northwest of Kingsley House, Trevone Road, Trevone, Padstow, Cornwall PL28 8QN: Framework application for the demolition of an existing garage / store and the construction of a detached house and garage, including the access (all other questions are reserved).
  • Golant, 43 Mount Wise, Newquay TR7 2BL: Change of use from C1 to C3 with the creation of two additional parking spaces.
  • 2 Foundry Close, Camborne TR14 0FE: Construction of a 4m x 3.5m veranda.
  • 34 Briansway, St Stephens, Saltash, Cornwall PL12 4AZ: Arboriculture work.
  • Access from Semersdon Manor to Semersdon, North Tamerton, Holsworthy EX22 6RL: Classified building permit for the reconstruction of a chimney.

  • 9 Place Victoria, Penzance TR18 4DB: Replace the existing slate roof with a new 16×8 Spanish slate.
  • Chapel House, Agar Road, Truro TR1 1JU: Extend the perimeter wall to delimit the parking area. Consists of a portal flanked by a stone wall topped with iron gates.
  • 2 Jacques Cottages Shop, Morwenstow, Bude, Cornwall EX23 9SH: replacement veranda.
  • Chapel House, Agar Road, Truro TR1 1JU: Classified building authorization to extend the perimeter wall to enclose the parking area. Consists of a portal flanked by a stone wall topped with iron gates.
  • 10 Camelside, Egloshayle Road, Wadebridge PL27 6BJ: Replace five white painted wood windows and two wood doors with white grain PVC frames.
  • Tresco Road from Ivy Cottage to Moor Plantation, Helston Water, Bissoe, Truro, Cornwall TR4 8TD: Demolition of an existing dwelling, construction of a replacement dwelling and associated works.
  • East Cottage Flat, Church Path, Bude, Cornwall EX23 8LH: Infill of covered yard to improve interior layout.
  • Riverside, Lower Penquite, St Breward, Bodmin, Cornwall PL30 4LY: Construction authorization classified for the addition of lead flashing to the existing stone chimney.
  • Wheelhouse, Fore Street, Mousehole TR19 6TQ: Classified building authorization for replacement of windows and doors, change of patio and path materials and internal modifications.
  • Wheelhouse, Fore Street, Mousehole TR19 6TQ: Replacement of windows and doors, installation of an air pump, change of patio and path materials and internal modifications.
  • Land east of 5 Carn Ros, Lower Boscaswell, Pendeen, Penzance Cornwall TR19 7UF: Planning permission with all matters reserved: Detached residential dwelling.
  • The Pines, 11 Trewinnard Grove, Truro TR1 3RQ: Work on trees subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO).
  • Gulls Cottage, West Looe Hill, West Looe PL13 2HJ: Replacement of an existing dilapidated wooden shed / summer house behind the rear garden with a new terraced roof shed / summer house.
  • White House Cottage, 3A Roscarrock Hill, Port Isaac PL29 3RG: Two story extension to the rear of the property with glazed link between the existing summer room and the accommodation (Revision of previously approved planning request PA19 / 09978 – enlarged footprint).
  • Cleswyth Road from Bunder An Sycamor to Creegbrawse, St Day TR16 5QF: Addition of a two story extension to the northeast elevation of the existing family home to add two bedrooms to the 3 bed chalet.
  • 16 Eastcliffe Road, By PL24 2AH: Remove the wall and walk down the curb to create a solid stance.
  • St Moritz Hotel, Trebetherick, Wadebridge PL27 6SD: Replacement of eight licensed “super suites” with two luxury self-catering holiday villas, one of which includes annex accommodation.
